Am I stingy?

I make just under $400AU a week, my fiancee makes about half as much as what I do he's a chronic spender, he spends so much he has to borrow $500 from his mum to buy me an engagement ring, when if he didn't spend so much on food and beer and actually saved his money I wouldn't have to keep covering some of his expenses which annoys me cause I like to save money and I have to pay the electricity, internet and pay off my car, he only has to pay the phone bill, I pay the other bills cause I get more money but I feel it's one sided and biased in that I payed the last two phone bills which is his responsibility am I soft or just stingy?
