Epidural steroid injections cause missed period??

In answer to your question prolonged use of this drug can cause menstrual problems but you have only had 2 treatments I don't know the dosage given or what your cycle usually is. But there could be a number of reasons for a late period including stress, pain, and the fact that you are receiving epidural injections. Epidurals are given during childbirth to numb the pain of contractions and any type of epidural injection could have an affect on your uterus . Missing your period 1 month is not anything to worry about the steriods may change your cycle. If it doesn't start next month and you aren't pregnant check with your OB
