Is it better to be no 2 in BCS poll rather than being No 1?

WHEN you are ranked #1 is the only truly important fact. And hopefully, its at the end of the football season. Carrying around the burden of #1 is tough because then every team you play has the chance to beat the #1 and that's extra motivation for your opponents
