Loreal excellence creme..?

i was looking on the loreal paris website at the shades of excellence creme. there's a 5A -- medium ash brown that i really like, but then there is 5AB -- mocha ash brown. what's the difference? i can only find the mocha at any store i've tried so far.. does that mean the other one sucks or something?
