How can I get my fish to live for Biology??

I have to get a guppy to live in a jar for two weeks, how can I get it to stay living? Specifically, does anyone know what levels of nitrate, nitrite, pH, ammonia, dissolved oxygen, temperature, and other abiotic components it needs to live?? It would be a great help. :-)
