What to do with my capricorn man?

So heres the basics. Me & him have been dating for close to 7 months, and I do love him. But the only issue we've ever had, is the same issue we're still having. He's so distant, he doesnt make me feel appreciated, or important, it feels like his friends are most important & I come second. Which doesnt sit well with me, I feel I should be equally important. When we're together, its great, i feel wonderful & he's always sweet right after we see one another & he'll reure all the doubts I was having. But it keeps comming back to him not showing me enough attention, && i'm tired of it. Not to be concided on any level, but I have plenty of guys just waiting for me & him to break up, && even though I have no intrest in them now, Most of them make me feel very special and important and loved && they arent even with me! Why is he doing this to us? I've told him how I feel as bluntly as I can so I kno he gets what I"m saying, but yet he still doesnt change. He tells me he loves & cares for me sometimes, but its not enough for me, he makes me feel it when I'm with him, but when we're away from eachother for a few days it fades. Before we started dating, he chased me I knew he wanted me, but now that we've settled in & been together for awhile, I think he's to comfortable, which isnt right. I dont want to leave him, but I kno what I deserve & I dont want to settle when it comes to love, I give plenty I'll do anything to make him happy, but only if he gives me the same in return && so far he hasnt. Why not? Should I just give up?
